| Add a Picket Fence |
|
Frame your cottage by installing a picket fence around your lawn. Pickets come in a variety of shapes and sizes. Three to four feet is a standard height, and the tops can be uniform or gently slope, like the fence shown here. Anchor posts with bright flowers add a pop of color, or plant a climbing vine that peeks through the pickets.
