The arrangements will keep for about a week if the roses don't get thirsty, so water occasionally.

February 18 begins this year's 15-day celebration of Chinese New Year—perfect timing for a pick-me-up party to ward off winter gloom. Stay true to tradition with blossoming flowers, a sign of new growth and happiness in the year to come. Arrange roses in takeout boxes like those from your favorite Chinese restaurant, then cluster bouquets together for an unusual centerpiece. You can also place them about your cottage for pops of color in the kitchen or bath or on a coffee table. As guests leave, offer them cheery flower-filled to-go boxes. We bet, for once, you won't have any leftovers.
